Chicago’s Deep Fayed strays from the expected, and with their high energy grooves, ‘Fayed seamlessly combines genres with a dose of heavy hip-hop beats. Chicago rapper D2G takes the mic as the band’s MC, alongside Catherine Poulos on lead vocals. Poetic lyrics, conscious themes and powerful vocals bring an added intensity to every arrangement and performance. Members of Deep Fayed have toured the U.S. and Europe and have shared the stage with ?Questlove, Pete Rock, Slum Village, The Wailers and Lupe Fiasco.
